Working Mamas

Dotty is nearly 3 and I can relate to EVERY single thing described below in Channel 4 ‘s campaign:

Good to see Mother Pukka Anna Whitehouse featured. Her book ‘Parenting the sh*t out of life’ was a great guide for me when winging it as a new mum on maternity.
Later on, her campaigns inspired me to go self-employed: https://lnkd.in/eEezdvUi

Luckily when starting RecCreate Ltd after maternity, I was eased into work as the locked-down world stood still. Because of the pandemic-fuelled need for moving image and my motion designer connections, things started moving and grooving.
Now recruitment is crrrrazzzy and I’m busier than I ever was.

Being in my mid-thirties and having lots of mum friends, I hear ALL the stories:
– Flexible employers embracing it
– SO so many asshole employer stories!!!
– Working fulltime paying over a grand a month in childcare
